Twas the Week Before Christmas

A CHRISTMAS POEM

‘Twas a week before Christmas and all through the house,

Family was complaining ’bout lack of hot water for showers.

Clothes were stacked in the laundry room with care,

But that didn’t matter because sewage was backed up in there.

Children cried, in-laws were outlawed,

And the young couple wished that they had simply called,

Frasier’s to receive a FREE PLUMBING INSPECTION,

Before their home went through a relative dissection.

But they didn’t, and so now, instead of Holiday bliss,

They sit awkwardly, while Grandpa Herb yells at them like this:

“Back in my day,” he snarls through his dentures,

“We knew what to do. We would call Frasier’s!

Your father called them, as did mine,

If we needed plumbing help, they’d be there on time!

Since 1918, they’ve taken care of our homes,

Now put down your ego and pull out your phone!”
